Questions worth asking.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account — two taps — and you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. Before you confirm, we'll show you exactly what goes dark, and sometimes make you an honest offer to stay. The cancel button is never hidden.
Is the first episode really free?+
Yes. Episode 01 plays in full with no signup wall and no card required. The decision to subscribe is one you make after seeing the work.
How much can I watch right now?+
Episode 01 plays free, in full — that's the work, unguarded, so you can decide for yourself. Members get every released transmission and the full Mission Archive, and the story keeps arriving as the Pathfinder travels toward Proxima. You're not buying a finished library; you're joining a voyage in progress — and locking in from the start.
What is Walk the Ship?+
The SS Pathfinder, explorable in 360° — twenty-four finished rooms joined by real walks and lift rides, growing section by section. Nine rooms are free to anyone, with no account — including the bridge, the observation dome and the bar. Members carry crew clearance: every deck, and each new room the moment it opens. What devices does Longwave work on?+
Web on any modern browser, and you can add Longwave to your home screen on iOS and Android for an app-like experience. Native apps and smart-TV support are on the roadmap.
Is Vagrant finished?+
Not yet. Vagrant is a playable work in progress. Every active membership opens the complete current build; there is no smaller Receiver version. Features, performance and polish will improve over time. The game currently needs a computer with a keyboard and mouse.
How often are new episodes released?+
Episodes ship when they're finished — no dates promised, none missed. The season roadmap above always shows what's next and where it stands, and Mission Status tracks the ship between transmissions. Members receive every new episode the moment it airs; Operators get it 48 hours before everyone else.
What happens after my 7 free days?+
On day 8 your card is charged for the plan and billing period you picked: Receiver is $6 monthly or $60 once a year; Operator is $14 monthly or $140 once a year. Your access continues, and the subscription renews at that interval. Stripe emails you a reminder before the trial ends, and you can cancel before it ends and pay nothing. Founding is billed $48 on day one and renews yearly; it has no free trial.
Who makes Longwave?+
One person. I write, direct, and render every frame of Olivia's story, and I built the site you're reading. Subscriptions are what keep the voyage independent — no ads, no algorithm, just the work. If anything ever goes wrong with your account or your billing, write to me and I'll fix it personally.
What's the difference between Receiver and Operator?+
Receivers get every episode in full, ad-free, the moment it airs. Operators get the same plus 48-hour early access, the Prompt Vault, the Cutting Room — where the episode being built right now is shown in progress — and Operator-only channels on Discord.
What about the short clips on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube?+
Those keep coming — they're the public signal: short transmissions that travel far and wide. The full episodes only play here on Longwave.
